The Reality Behind Fiction

I’m preparing a much more spicy post for tomorrow, but just so everyone knows what GRUNTS is all about here comes the explanation from the director Chris Ward - ” …the first movie was all about a military base and Boot Camp, the second film follows an eight-man team that heads out on Night Patrol. What the GRUNTS don’t know is that the US Government is sending soldiers out into the field in order to test chemical weapons on them. The camp commanders snicker as the men march out on patrol because they know that tonight these unaware GRUNTS will be sprayed with Hydro-Spastic Nitrate, a chemical that makes the straightest of the straight into raging, testosterone-soaked homos. This is the story of the experiments behind the Pentagon’s Gay Bomb–that period of experiments and testing to see if enemy troops could be turned gay. Sadly, this is based on a true story.”

I’m posting a few more prodution pictures just so you can see the attention to details. I’m really flattered to be part of this project. Just so you have an idea how big this project is I took this info out of an ealier press release “… the project is the most ambitious production undertaken in gay porn in recent years. Grunts is envisioned as an “army movie to end all army movies” and has an estimated budget of about $175,000 ($105,000 in model fees alone). Almost every hot star in the industry is cast in the two-week long shoot. Grunts will be released as three two-disc sets in January, March, and May of 2008.”

Queer Porn Nation among other porn blogs are following the story closely. If you check out their entries you might find some other useful information.

I’ll probably finish the next entry up by tonight and post by tomorrow, so keep coming back for more ;-)

How HOT is a man in a uniform? Way H-H-H-O-O-O-T-T-T!!!!!!!!!!!! Dirty face and all just means that much more scrubbing to be done once you get the soldier into the shower stall :)
With my theatre background as a designer I can clearly see that the production team has done one fantastic job with authenticity — in costumes, props, sets and make-up — most impressive. And it’s that much more special to know that our boy Luke is part of the troop…yeah Luke :) I’ll bet you will have lots of “war stories” after the shoot that will never show up on film so you will have to keep giving us all the “dirt” right here on your blog. I’m proud of you, kid. Keep on shooting those bullets…or whatever you guys shoot out in the war zone. Count on us to follow your tale(s).
And keep on keeping on with the fun.

    Will in CA :)
