I’m just now returning from my trip west where I shot a scene for TitanMedia; enjoyed Spring Break in Napa Valley with my boyfriend and joined the many other porn peeps at the GayVN Awards in San Francisco this past weekend.

It sure seems like a lot but really most of the time was spent doing nothing. Napa Valley is a great place to relax and enjoy the spring weather. For example this past Saturday when all the porn stars were at brunch with Roma, I was catching the breeze in Pt. Reyes on a really nice horseback ride in the company of great friends.

It was the first time my boyfriend ever rode a horse (well, that kind of horse of course LOL – apparently I’m unable to write a single paragraph without making some type of sexual enuendo) so it was quite the experience for both of us. Luckily I got the calm nice horse (named Jesse) and he got the bitchy nag named Dancer … Poor thing… I’m not sure when he’s gonna wanna ride again … A horse I mean :-p

On my first days here I had arranged to shoot a scene for Titan and despite some “technical” difficulties on my part went fairly well. I wouldn’t say it will be my best performance on screen but I’m sure you’ll get to bust a nut at the end
… And that’s all what matters most.

The scene starts with Brandon and I and a pile of wood. That alone should give you a boner LOL. My chainsaw wasn’t working but who cares when you ‘got wood’ right? We decide to put the wood to good use and fucked the brains out of each other. The scene was shot at the Titan Ranch in Pescadero. Titan owns this beautiful property about an hour south of San Francisco where they use to shoot most of their location scenes. It’s high out in the mountains but close enough to the shore. The scenary on the way is breathtaking and the view from the property looking down the mountains is pretty amazing too.

We then headed back to the studio where the second part of the scene was gonna be shot. We then met up with CJ Madison and JR for a pretty hot foursome. It was JR’s first scene ever but he performed like a pro. Look out for him cuz he looks amazing. The kinda boy you’d find on Sean Cody. Really sexy muscled jock with a pretty face to boot. It wasn’t really planned for JR and I to get any play on the scene but I sure lifted my finger up when asked if I’d be up for it wait until you see him and you’ll know I made the right decision.

I have to say, again, it wasn’t the smoothest scene I ever shot, we did have some “technical” difficulties but like any other scene shot with the same type of difficulties after its edited you won’t even notice LOL and like I said I’m sure you will bust a nut regardless.

I have to, again thank Brian Mills and Patrick O’Conner, respectively, director and production manager, for the way I was treated before, during and after the shoot. Their support really makes things a lot easier for the models they bring to work with them. I also have to make a special mention to Chris (unfortunately I didn’t catch his last name, but he knows who he is). He is the sweetest guy I ever encountered in a porn shoot, his easy going personality combined with his professionalism really made an impression on me. Thanks Chris, you made me feel like a super star

Then this past Saturday every porn star in town, including me and Shane Frost (my date for the event), my boyfriend and my business partner among other friends were attending the GayVN awards. This year, like many others have reported, the theme was football and at first I thought it could be really cool but in reality it was pretty lame. Don’t get me wrong, I had a blast but the whole thing was pretty dumb and in my humble opinion we could have lived without it. I guess it’s better than not having a theme at all.

Alec Mapa was pretty funny and NakedSword totally got their money’s worth in laughs and smart dirty jokes. Margaret Cho was really lame and the dick song at the end was the stupidest thing I ever heard. It’s not enough anymore to just be dirty on stage just because it’s a porn award show, you gotta be witty and funny, otherwise the smart porn stars… Urhm uhhm (clear throat) … like me, will just get bored out of our asses. And that brings me to Janice Dickinson … What was she doing there exactly? I hope she was just accompanying somebody and not really being paid to show up drunk or high on stage without a clue about what to do or say. Waste of time!

Anyway, to me it was more about mingling around and seeing people I don’t get to see often. I could have an infinite list of names here … Kent Taylor, Chris Ward and Geof Teogue from Raging Stallion. My porn peeps, Ricky Sinz, Scott Tanner, Damian Rios, RJ Danvers, Wolf Hudson, the Tristans that I love I also got to see Brian Mills from Titan that I just worked with and Troy Pricket who I met for the first time, casting director for Falcon who I have exchanged countless emails and phone calls with but had never seen in person. And for the record, I think Falcon totally got robbed this year with so few awards. I also got to meet Mason Wyler who I was in the past paired with at least twice by Michael Brandon and at the last minute things fell through (I miss Michael lol he was pretty good at pairing me up with the type of guys I’m mostly attracted to … Remember Tristan? LOL) Anyway, Mason had invited us to go bowling on Sunday which was pretty fun. It was also great to meet Paul (pretty cute btw), from the Sword.

I also got to see my good friend, the cutest photographer in San Francisco (without the mustache LOL) Brandon Norris. He’s so fucking talented. For those who have no idea who he is, he’s the official Booty Call photographer every Wednesday night at the Q-bar on Castro. It’s a lot of fun, if you’ve never been there you should go get your picture taken (I did) and tell him I sent you Love you Brandon. Can’t wait to see you again.

I also went to say hello to Brent Corrigan, but I felt like he just brushed me off, a little surprising to me since we were nominated together for best duo. So he either had a lot on his mind worrying about his many awards waiting for his drink at the bar or his head is already swollen up LOL in any case he deserves the best and I still love him

This was also the first time I brought my boyfriend along to any kind of porn event. He’s not really into porn so he wasn’t impressed. But again you didn’t have to be into porn to be unimpressed he’ll come along … In time.

Like I mentioned before, this post isn’t about the amount of comments I’m not getting. The issue here is the amount I am getting – by spammers. It’s a pain in the ass when i have to scroll through hundreds of comments trying to find the ONE my good friend Mr. F just sent me – I’m sure he’s gonna add his remarks even to this one too

Almost a year ago, Brent Corrigan added CAPTCHA to his blog comment section and Boy! I thought it was pretentious lol little I know I was gonna go through the same thing not too far in the future. He was bitching and complaining about the amount of spam comments he had to go through and I thought, really?! How much spam can u really get? I have no idea how much he was getting when he finally decide to put a stop to it. I know I received over 100 yesterday and that just did it for me.

Starting today, right before you add your comment you’re gonna see this little box with two words inside. All you have to do is type the two words and click on submit comment. I want to apologize for the trouble to my average 5 blog commentators that this may cause but at least I’ll have more time to write posts lol instead of spending my time fishing through spam mail trying to find your good comments

This new technology, is called reCAPTCHA and for each word that you type you’re actually helping to digitize books from the Internet Archive. If you’re interested in how this technology works, keep reading, otherwise just go straight to the comment section lol just kidding!

“To archive human knowledge and to make information more accessible to the world, multiple projects are currently digitizing physical books that were written before the computer age. The book pages are being photographically scanned, and then, to make them searchable, transformed into text using “Optical Character Recognition” (OCR). The transformation into text is useful because scanning a book produces images, which are difficult to store on small devices, expensive to download, and cannot be searched. The problem is that OCR is not perfect.

reCAPTCHA improves the process of digitizing books by sending words that cannot be read by computers to the Web in the form of CAPTCHAs for humans to decipher. More specifically, each word that cannot be read correctly by OCR is placed on an image and used as a CAPTCHA. This is possible because most OCR programs alert you when a word cannot be read correctly.

But if a computer can’t read such a CAPTCHA, how does the system know the correct answer to the puzzle? Here’s how: Each new word that cannot be read correctly by OCR is given to a user in conjunction with another word for which the answer is already known. The user is then asked to read both words. If they solve the one for which the answer is known, the system assumes their answer is correct for the new one. The system then gives the new image to a number of other people to determine, with higher confidence, whether the original answer was correct.”
